My wife and I came to Grace and Truth Community Church without any expectations—just casual churchgoers, simply attending. But God, in His grace, had a far greater plan.

Through the faithful preaching of His Word and the guidance of His servant, our under-shepherd Pastor Philip “Bong” Barba, the Lord began a deep and life-changing work in me. The same person who once could hardly open his mouth to pray, who would withdraw whenever the Word of God was being discussed, has now been transformed by His goodness.

By His grace alone, I am now able to stand, speak, and share His truth—participating in the Great Commission through exhortation during our Friday prayer meetings. What I once avoided has now become a calling I embrace, not by my own strength, but through the power of God working in me.
